Richard Meade is one of the foremost silks in intellectual property, IT and telecoms, media and entertainment.

He particularly specialises in patent (and SPC) litigation, usually multi-jurisdictional, involving highly technical subject matter such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, mobile telecommunications.

He appears at all levels of the UK Courts and specialist IP tribunals, up to and including the Supreme Court, at all levels of the EPO, and in foreign jurisdictions (where permitted) and arbitral tribunals.  He is a Recorder and Deputy High Court Judge, and a CEDR accredited mediator.
