Quentin joins us as a practising barrister from Australia. Admitted in 2003, Quentin has acted as counsel in large-scale commercial litigation both in Australia and the Cayman Islands, with experience in intellectual property, technology disputes, corporate, insolvency, and private trust. Prior to becoming a practising barrister, Quentin worked in Silicon Valley in software development, system and network security administration.
Quentin holds degrees from the University of Queensland and the University of Oxford where he is completing his D.Phil on the topic of copyright enforcement. Whilst at Oxford, Quentin tutored in both contract law and intellectual property; and whilst at the bar in Australia, Quentin was an invited and sessional lecturer at the Queensland University of Technology on the topics of intellectual property, civil procedure and professional practice.
