On 4th March 2015, Charlotte May QC gave a talk to the IP Society entitled “Victoria’s Secret, Rihanna and the future of trade marks and passing off”. The talk focussed on a number of recent trade mark and passing off decisions, and their practical impact on preparing cases for trial, including how best to prepare evidence and address the burden of proof.
