EU-China IPR2 Project on Chinese intellectual property law

20 August 2010

In July 2010, Fiona Clark gave a seminar on trade mark law to legislators in China organised by the European Union as part of its EU-China IPR2 Project, in partnership with the Chinese Legislative Affairs Commission.  Daniel Alexander will be giving a seminar on procedure in intellectual property cases in Beijing with Professor Brinkhof (NL) and other experts under the same EU scheme in September 2010.  This work is part of a substantial project of assistance given by the EU to the Chinese Government in reviewing its intellectual property laws.  Over the last two years, several members of chambers have participated in these sessions and in writing reports with other leading European academics and practitioners.
