Jaani Riordan speaks at the International Copyright Law Conference in London

On 28 November 2016, Jaani Riordan delivered a talk to the IBC International Copyright Conference in East London. His talk considered recent case law of the CJEU concerning the right of communication to the public, culminating in the decision of Case C-160/15 GS Media BV v Sanoma Media Netherlands BV (8 September 2016). He also considered case law from other jurisdictions concerning de-indexing injunctions.

Jaani presented along with other speakers from WIPO, the Copyright Hub, the British Copyright Council, Google, and Publishers Association at a conference considering recent developments in international, EU and national copyright law, the Digital Single Market proposal, and the implications of Brexit for future developments in UK copyright law.
