The new Guide to the Patents County Court (PCC) has been issued with the approval of The Chancellor of the High Court. You can download the guide here.
The guide gives information and assistance on the conduct of patent and intellectual property cases at the PCC under the new rules which came into effect from 1st October 2010. Many members of 8 New Square have advised on cases under the new rules, the total standing at over 25 cases including Westwood -v- Anthony Edward Knight the first trial at the PCC under the new rules and ALK Abello v Meridian which deals with transfers between the Patents County Court and the Patents Court.
